One-Bowl Chocolate Cake Recipe – rich and wanton damp chocolate cake made in only one bowl. The fudgy icing is compelling!

Ingredients :

for the cake:

  • 1 cup generally useful flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon preparing pop
  • 1/2 teaspoon preparing powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 huge egg
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk see note
  • 1/2 cup high temp water
for the icing :
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted margarine
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1.25 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla concentrate
Instructions

  1. Line a 8" square or adjust cake skillet with material paper or aluminum foil. Put in a safe spot.
  2. Preheat broiler to 350 degrees F.
